Elizabeth S. Martin, MD, FAAD
Dr. Elizabeth Martin graduated from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor of Science degree with Honors in Psychology. While at Vanderbilt, she was inducted into the Mortar Board honor society and was a student in the Vanderbilt Psychology Honors Program. She received her medical degree in 1997 from East Tennessee State University, Quillen College of Medicine, where she graduated in the top of her class. As a third year medical student, Dr. Martin was named to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, an honor bestowed to an exceedingly small percentage of students signifying high academic achievement, leadership among her peers, professionalism, strong ethics, and a commitment to service. Ross Hendricks, BSN, MSN
Mr. Hendricks, a Birmingham native, is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner who obtained both his Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He has been practicing dermatology since 2014 and has been a valuable team member of Pure Dermatology since 2017. Ross has special interests in psoriasis, hair loss, and acne. He thoroughly enjoys getting to know his patients on a personal level and developing the very best treatment plans for each of them. A founding board member of the Alabama Society of Dermatology Professionals, he has also served that organization as its President. Ross also is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Ross serves The Gathering Place Church as Associate Pastor and Prayer Director. He is also Director of The Gathering Place School of Ministry. Ross resides in Liberty Park and enjoys golfing, fishing, hunting, traveling and mission trips.
Lauren Robinson, MPAS, PA-C
Ms. Robinson is a board-certified Physician Assistant who received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2018. She is originally from Missouri and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Southeast Missouri State University with a degree in Biomedical Sciences. Immediately upon her graduation from UAB, Lauren began her career in dermatology in 2018. She has a special interest in skin cancer prevention and detection, but thoroughly enjoys all aspects of medical dermatology. Lauren finds treating patients with acne particularly rewarding and enjoys customizing individual treatment plans for each of her patients. With extensive experience in surgical dermatology Lauren is extremely proficient in performing these procedures. Additionally, she also enjoys cosmetic dermatology. Learn More >
